Catch the Reading Bug!

Our Children’s Summer Reading Program is called “Catch the Reading Bug!” This program is free and open to all children from 1 year through 5th grade.  (If you just finished 5th grade - you can choose to either be part of our children’s summer reading or move up to our teen summer reading program.) We have several activities planned for summer.  We design our summer reading in packets so you can take it with you wherever you go. 
Some of the events being planned:

Binder Park ZooMobile will be visiting us on July 30 at 1:30 PM.  Their program is called “What’s So Great About Bugs?” and will have a variety of live animals to show us.
Digital Photo Poster Making
Butterfly Raising and Release
Chess Tournament
Board Game Night
Bug Scavenger Hunt
